Collingwood Summer Day Camps 2010

Computer Camp has expanded! In addition to our popular Computer Camp we have added 4

additional camps for children whose interests may not be in Computers. We have added soccer and Hockey camps for the sports minded, a music camp for those who wish to develop their musical talents and an Arts & Crafts camp for those budding artists amoung us.

Our Children's camps are taught & run by a very capable staff of mainly volunteers from our church who strive to provide a fun yet secure and positive environment. Most of the camps run Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. All our camps incorporate Bible teaching, games, prizes and some outdoor activity.

Computer Camp This year during the computer classes we will be combining digital media

learning about the internet, and other computer skills.
Computer camp is offered both Aug. 9 - 13 and 16 - 20.
Children can only register for one of these two weeks.
Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm.
Grades 3 to 7.
Cost: $55

Arts & Crafts Day Camp Imagine! Experience! Observe it, Create it, Paint it! A special focus on art and outdoor activity. All supplies included.
Arts & Crafts camp is offered the week of Aug. 9 - 13.
Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm.
Grades 2 to 5
Cost: $55.

New! Hockey Day Camp New! Hockey Day Camp This year, we are starting a new summer day camp. The hockey camp teaches students floor hockey skills as well giving lots of time for fun competitions.
Hockey day camp is offered the week of Aug. 9 - 13.
Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm.
Grades 3 to 7
Cost: $55.

Soccer Camp We're partnering with Athletes in Action for our soccer camp happening at Collingwood Park. The camp will include skill development, fun competitions and exciting tournaments.
Soccer camp is offered the week of Aug. 16 - 20.
Monday to Friday, 9am - 3pm
Grades 3 to 7
Cost: $55.

Music Camp Music Camp will include learning a variety of fun songs and actions as well as some music games.
Music camp is offered Aug 16 - 20
Monday to Friday, 9am - 12pm (half day care available)
Grades K to 3 (entering these grades in September).
Cost: $30

(Children should be entering the stated grade in the Fall)

Multiple Camps:
Your child may register your child for both weeks, but not in both computer camps (they are the same course).

Before & After Camp Child Care:
Many working parents find it difficult to get children to the church at 9 am and pick them up again by 3 pm. In such cases we are offering before & after camp child care in the morning starting at 8 am and again in the afternoon until 5 pm.
Costs are as follows:
AM (8am-9am) $2/day ($10/wk)
12pm - 3pm (for half day music camp) $5/day ($25/wk)
PM (3pm-5pm) $3/day ($15/wk)
Please remember to add these costs to the price of the registration!

To reserve a place for a child in one of our summer programs, please mail or drop off the appropriate completed  registration form along with a $20 per child non-refundable deposit at the church.
