Full Time Summer Position: Two Summer Team Leaders

(35 hours/week for 8 weeks, starting approximately July 5th)

Collingwood Baptist Church is looking for two full time Summer Team Leaders. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is looking for work for the summer, who has a desire to be a missionary to the local community as well as an important spiritual mentor. Here is a brief job description:

Reporting to the Youth Worker and the Summer Coordinator, you will be working with children and youth. You will be organizing regular activities with children and youth each week, preparing for our two weeks of Summer Camps Aug 12-23, recruiting and helping to train youth volunteers. You will prepare and lead bible lessons.

You will build relationships with children and their families, presenting the good news when possible. Children will hear the Gospel in terms they can understand from someone who cares for them personally. You will work with our Youth Director and our Summer Coordinator who will mentor and encourage you in your work with the children and youth. You will prepare and lead bible lessons when applicable and encourage those children who are believers to reach out to their friends. We are seeking two individuals with a heart for serving in children’s ministry, and a whole hearted love for Jesus.
